All right folks this is gonna be possibly a different thought. I had a water pump leak a couple years ago. Ever since then replacing the water pump this jeep overheats. I have tried everything I know to replace. The engine is only a couple years old. I’ve even done a new tupee head. And it still overheats. One thing I’ve done that I’ve never thought about. Is I put in an all aluminum Radiator? Because I burned through those plastic radiators quickly. However, this morning I woke up and I was like surely not! Is it possible that all whole Aluminum Radiator is giving off way too much heat for the Jeep to handle?

The belt routing is different for RHD versus LHD, but I can't see how you'd manage to have the pump running backwards unless you have the ribs facing the pulley.
Someone else posted recently that they accidentally left the cap on the radiator connection and found it in the hose after fighting overheating after replacing the radiator. Radiator hoses are getting hot, like it's pumping right?

I'm not sure how it would happen but the shop manual seems pretty convinced... but what do they know
