In looking again at the link in the OP, it says that RHD 2 row rad has a 1.5" thick core. The OE stock 1 row rad has a 1.25" thick core so the 2 row is far from twice as thick. I presume there would be a +/-1/4" air space (that does nothing) between the 2 rows.......so what is gained? I believe the RHD 2 row rad will be heavier as it is copper/brass construction vs the aluminum/plastic construction of the OE 1 row rad.
I work with a guy that has a RHD Jeep but it's not a Made in America Postal Jeep, it's a European model (all gauges different, kilometers, Celsius, etc) that somehow got shipped over here. It has what appears to be a standard (thinner) radiator & he has trouble with it running hot. Now I'm wondering if the thicker postal one will fit in his?
Not a great deal of gain but anything should help.

That's what I don't understand about the Spectra link above. We installed the CU1193 and the calipers said the core measures 1.25" thick, the same thickness as the OE stock rad we removed. I'm wondering if the CU2340 (2 row copper core rad) is maybe a 1.5" thick core vs the 1.25" shown in the link.
Wonder how the fins/inch and rows vertically compare?????
Bottom line is, any new rad is going to cool better than an old partially plugged rad.

I always heard the RHD Postal Jeeps had a thicker radiator due to the abuse they're put through on a daily basis.

Export model XJs being used in the US as postal Jeeps are fairley common, large numbers were bought second-hand and re-imported to the US for postal use after production ended.
