Default possible rod knock?

My jeep is getting its roof painted and im only starting it once or twice real quick in the morning. And when I do it starts ticking really loud but once I put the break on to put it into drive it stops. And it usually only happens once. Is this the start of a rod knock or something else? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It's your lifters pumping up. Don't worry about it. Drive it til it drops..

No prob. If its rod or main bearings going out theres one easy check.
Start the car, put her in gear with your left foot on the brake. With your right foot step on the gas and lightly "power brake" it. If she knocks, you got problems. If she is quiet, all is good. Do this at operating temps....
