Default Possible leaf spring problem?

Hi folks. This is my first post here. Before anything else, thanks so much for all the knowledge and info I've found here up to this point.

Now for my potential problem, I just got some leaf springs in the mail for a full suspension rebuild, but I've encountered something that immediately caught my eye when I was inspecting them. One of the leafs seems to be off center by about a half inch. I used a rubber mallet to try to coax it back into place but it won't budge. The other leafs can move when I give them a bump, but this one is solid. If it makes a difference in spring design, the springs are from Crown, heavy duty, no lift 4886185AA model. Do you think this will be a problem?

Try a BFH to provide the proper motivation. Use a piece of wood of you're concerned about scratching the paint.

That is not a huge problem. If the leaf is warped to the side a little, that can be a good sign. It means the leaves were bent and tempered at a cherry red temp instead of cold rolled. Being tapered on the end is a good thing too as well as the friction pads

Okay, thanks for the help. A little more go with the hammer then hey? Does that mean it's not a pin holding it in place? Would that be part of a teflon spacer? I see a spacer when I look from the side, but I've never taken a set of springs apart before so I was thinking maybe it was a misaligned steel pin holding it off to the side.

The pin is in the middle, so each leaf should rotate around the pin (slightly) when it finally moves.
