Does anyone have the correct Omix-Ada part number for the MAT (manifold air temp) sensor? I ordered the one that came up under search, photo "may not represent actual product" and it isn't correct, it is for '91+ Omix-Ada #17221.01. Will it work? Maybe, if I find the proper connector. I'd just like to find the right one, with the pigtail & "weatherpack" connector. I don't care who manufactures it, as long as it works & connects quickly! It is 5º with a -18º wind chill here, no desire to be out there any longer than needed, I just spent the last 5 weeks outside on the streets of downtown Chicago getting this POS running again! Any help appreciated!

The MAT sensor is discontinued and no longer available. Don't worry to much though, just use a coolant temp sensor they have the same resistance and I think they'll plug right in. It the same sensor that under the intake/exhaust, not the the one on the back of the head.

Fortunately, it is a standard GM part (most RENIX sensors are,) so you can source one from a speed shop or somesuch. Here's what I got a batch of last time I needed them - http://www.injector.com/cart/pc/view...&idcategory=12. Their MAP sensors and CTS units also work well for RENIX.

The response curve between the IAT and CTS is the same, but the sensor tips are different - you don't get quite the same response from the CTS in the airstream.
