yes, it is a direct drop in with some things you need to do.

you need to swap all sensors (oil pressure, temp, others) as they will not plug into your harness. but the ones off your 89 renix will screw, bolt, or do what ever they do to bolt on.

You also have to swap distributors so it will plug in.

I also did my entire intake man. with fuel rail so everything will plug in and work properly.

some of the brackets will also need to be changed, but all bolt on.

In the end you just have the H.O engine, with all the renix elec. stuff and essentials.




But back to the burning oil. I had a compression test done on it and the rings are 100% so i think it could be the valve seals. Any ideas??

What could i get for a completely re done renix head??
