That's usually the track bar bushing. I jammed grease into mine and it shut up real quick.

Check all your bushings and joints . . i had an annoying "popping sound" coming from the passenger side front end on my jeep, turned out to be the sway bar bushing was completely worn through . . also have you checked your u-joints? they can make a lot of odd noises when they go bad especially when turning at slow speeds

I also am experiencing this. I thought what I was hearing was my blown shock; replaced it with 5150's and bar pin eliminators sound is still there. Popping when turning left and right abruptly. Also I have what sounds like metal rubbing on metal or as if my coil spring came completely loose or something just on my drivers side where my blown shock was. I'm sure my complaining isn't going to get me answers as it's HARD for someone to diagnose something over the internet...
Sounds is heard with sway bar connected or disconnected.

I'm having the same problem, piping noise & can feel it under my feet. Changed the ball joints not to long ago, also the tranny & motor mounts. Gonna climb under her today & find out what's going on.
