My transfer case keeps popping out of 4hi and 4 low make a horrible sound when it comes out of 4 low I am clueless as to how to solve this problem or how to diagnose it? Thank you guys!

Adjust the linkage or better yet, replace with the kit from boostwerks. I was able to adjust mine back properly, but will be doing the upgrade when it warms up a bit.

Thank you guys I will try that I'm not sure it's the linkage tho even when I am holding the shifter lever back while using it I can feel it pop and try to come out

If you can still drive it, its more than likely the linkage. You won't be able to hold it in gear yourself.

lol the only way to use 4 low and get up on the throttle is if I hold it otherwise it will come out of gear even when I am holding it like I said it will still try to come out and make a popping noise sooo yes I am holding it in gear myself

That just confirms to me that your linkage is out of whack. You should be able to pop it into 4 hi/lo and go.

Dumajones posted the "you tube" for you and that most likely 90+% of the time will take care of your problem. This issue has came up numerous times myself included.

Keep in mind that worn engine and trans mounts can contribute to this also.
