Default Popping noise when wheel is hard over?

This dosent happen a lot but when I have my steering wheel turned hard over like pulling out of a tight parking lot I hear a popping noise. any ideas? I don't think it's ball joints. I have a 99 xj 4.0

From the front or the rear? Is it consistent with the rotation of the wheel? How often is it at a certain speed?

Only when backing out of a parking spot or turning hard real slow. and sounds like the front right and I'm not sure if the wheel turn makes a difference. Been like this since July multiple wheeling trips and 10k miles

Have you checked your trac bar? Check where it connects to the body. You may have to have someone turn the wheel for you while you watch with a flashlight.
