poping noise coming from front left..

Default poping noise coming from front left..

when i got over a bump or up and over a small incline there is always a pop in the front drivers side.. leaning towards ball joint.. just getting opinions

You jeep info is not filled out,,, Is it lifted? Could be Swaybar link hitting the spring, U-Joints, trackbar, lots of theis. More info would be helpfull, since we are not there with you looking at your rig.

yea sorry

93 xj
3 inch lift sway disconnects
everything else is pretty aged..
it really is a pop noise tho doesnt sound like anything is hitting

try greasing the front drive shaft before you go to far. its easy and works 50% of the time. heck. grease it all and see if it helps

cheack the hold down clip on the bottom of the coil spring see if its come loose mine popd in the same location it was that clip letting the coil move when i hit a bump i have a 5 in lift with a 2 in rubber spacer on top hope this helps some

TREs, ball joints, or trackbar is the likely causes. Grease everything you can, it does help but might be too late to do much.

yea i was leaning toward TRE and ball joints.. any special type of grease recomended?

Really doesn't matter too much, just make sure you get marine/grey grease etc. Don't go using multi-purpose or all-purpose crap on your rig.

Mine was making similar noises. Turned out to be the swaybar.

Mine did the same thing. I needed an adjustable track bar, it usually isn't a problem with only 3" of lift but check out your track bar for sure.
