I replaced the asd relay, the mystery 30a fuse, and pulled the wires away from the exhaust manifold and fired it up. Seems to have done the trick. Glad I found this forum. Very helpful xjeremy. I appreciate it.

no prob, glad to hear u resolved it....just remember to search, research, then search some more....lots of good useful info on the internet

did u inspect the wiring that grounded on the manifold? make sure it wasnt too damaged??....other than that, u should be good with electrical taping it up REAL good, or even better liquid tape, & zip-tying it out of the way....copper corrodes, could cause an issue some day
