Default Plug behind front bumper?

I took my bumper off the other day to bedline it and this plug was behind it. Anyone know what it is for?

I saw the same thing the other night. It's honestly probably the stock fog light harness.

So it must not be for the fog lights.

I heard it's for the external temp. sensor if you had an OHC.

The plug on the temp sensor on my 90 looks different. I'm wondering if I can check it and if it affects mileage.

Flintstone - that sensor isnt for the engine, its for the temp read-out inside the vehicle.

Thanks much. I have no "thermometer" inside...I though maybe the ECM might use ambient temp to help do its black magic with the mixture. Maybe I have wires in the dash I could plug a readout into.

So if that is for the fog lights, shouldn't there be another plug for the other fog light? Or do you need a pigtail so you can connect both fog lights?
