I agree it sounds like it may be cracked. You can pick-up some repair glue or may be called a sealant at O-Reilly's that is just for plastic radiator tank.You mix two components together and apply. Just clean the area and scuff it with a little sandpaper. I used it and it dries as hard as the radiator itself.

yeah im gunna check it out tommorow gotta change the thermo so gunna do a flush and all that good stuff probably another new cap lol thatnx for the help

an upgrade would be best, but i know $$$ is hard to come by, so for a quick repair i would try some two part plastic epoxy. i know the metal epoxy has worked several times before on the truck radiators. might save you some cash.
