okay so i looked under the hood of my jeep today i was modding a bit and noticed my radiator was leaking form around the cap now i just bought this cap like a week ago cause the old one was why i thought it was leaking around there is there something im missen or is something els wrong if anyone has any suggestions please let me know thanx

 

Please take a picture of "said leak" and post up. There could be many different things causing it. From cracks to even the wrong rad cap.

A picture of the leak would help greatly..

can't really see in that picture,my guess is the neck has a crack in it,if its plastic you will need to replace,if its metal you can solder it.

 

can u just replace the neck or do u gotta do the whole rad??

 

the whole thing if its plastic,if you have the metal/aluminum you can have it repaired

 

wow that sux i have to replace my rad because i have a lil crack in the plastic thats unfortunate

 

try to find an upgraded radiator for it, an all aluminum one,that way it won't happen again.

 

yeah true got ne good places for a radiator???any preffered

 

try Napa,AutoZone or any good local radiator shop

 

yeah im kinda hopeing it isnt because when it does leak it looks like it is deff from around the cap but i cant really tell 100 percent
