217k. And ya I cleaned the valve cover and the calves inside and still have that issue. Idk what to do. I'm at a lose. When she is cold she has no issues but once she warms up she complains

Think your rings might be toast. One thing you could try is a can of restore. Stuff actually works pretty good. Get the one for the v8 and change our oil 5-30 and put in the can of restore. Run it for a bit and put some miles on it and it should get better. Other then that we could walk you through an in frame over haul lol.

Now that should be a lesson for everyone!
Don't fix a valve cover gasket leak it will ruin the rings and make your turn signals not work!
This has gone from the simple to the absolute ridiculous.
It's obviously something YOU DID. More than likely it's a ground problem.
Try something - use a good battery jumper cable. Connect one end to battery negative terminal and the other right on the engine block. See if the problems go away.

Then move the cable from the engine to the body. Make sure you have a GOOD connection to the body. Paint is NOT a good connection.
Excessive blowby does NOT cause turn signals to malfunction.
That may be another issue in itself.
He may have got the plastic elbows front to rear mixed up. The rear one has a a small orifice - the front is open.
Buying new ones at parts houses usually you get the wrong ones - no matter what the parts idiot says.
If the one with a small hole is used in the front it will appear to have excessive blowby.
But - no matter what, it will NOT AFFECT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
Even if all the rings were totally broken, - the turn signals and lights will still work!
THINK ABOUT IT!

From YOUR initial post - post #1
""""and the dash lights were very dim. I turned her off then restarted her and it seemed fine. I also noticed that my right turn signal dash light stays on. The lights work fine when I engage them but once its off that light stays on. I do.t see why since I haven't touched the wiring. Has anyone gone through this or know how to fix this? Please help. """"""
If that wasn't true, then why did you say it?
Why did everyone try to help you with grounds when it was NOT an electrical problem?
Why does the TITLE of the thread say it?
We cannot, and won't help, if you change your story.

Rich, we were not even thinking about the lights. We were going through grounds and such for the idle issues as renix ground problems can cause the symptoms described. The blow by COULD possibly be caused by an excessively rich situation. Maybe bad injectors. Relax buddy. Konrad, pull your dipstick and see what the oil smells like and what it looks like.

Just a thought, if it's been sitting and it's freezing in Chicago, wonder if there could be some steam there. (sort of looks like it). Also checking the rear vent there and it's tube seems to make sense. (that one is suppose to suck, you know).

I'm tellin ya man.... Restore works wonders. Did you ever drive it? If so what was the mileage? Did you smell the oil? I was serious about that.

I know u were. And the mileage sucks. About a 1/4 tank in 62 miles. And the oil did smell gaseous. So I might have blown piston rings.and I have oil coming out of the exhaust .......
