please help random "high" idle and stall

Default please help random "high" idle and stall

hey guys new to this forum
I just purchased a 98 jeep cherokee and got ripped off
long story short i sold my 2011 tacoma trd and had to get a vehicle asap so ive been wanting to get an xj and i found what i thought was a decent deal...everything sounded good when running and driving so i bought it.
on the way home i noticed a red light the oil pressure dropped to 10lbs but as soon as i took off right back up to 5olbs. So the next day i took it to work changed the oil to rotella t5 10w30 and mopar filter drove home still the same oil pressure when hot and now lifter noise that wasnt there before,ok great...decided to put a new oil pump in and inspect rod bearings for good measure..did so and rod bearing were fine and oil pressure didnt change so i hooked up a mechanical oil press gauge and it was about 65lbs cold idle and 60lbs hot idle so the sending unit is off/bad ....wen it was sitting there running i noticed the electric fan was on all the time and not turning off and the idle would randomly climb to 1000 and drop so i fugured it was an iacv getting funny so no biggie.parked it outside and went to bring it in and no start unless i floored it got it going and pulled it in and turned it off and tried the start again and it started right up hmmm....so i drove it home the next day and wen it was warming up the idle climb to 1000 like before and i tapped the gas and it stumbled and almost cut out..then afew sec later idle came down and i drove home mostly highway...when i got off the highway to pullin the gas station i went to turn in and give it gas and nothing is stalled ...lucly i rolled into the gas station and cranked andcranked and nothing until i held it wide open and it fired and i drove home also the temp gauge was barely reading and then it would go to operating temp then drop so i thought air pocket...the next day drove it and shut it off at the gas station then started right up but had an high idle "1000" then put it in r and stalled and wouldnt start untill the third try and at wide open plugged it in to the scan tool and no comunication then it worked..got two codes coolant temp to high and upstream o2 rich but no check engine light so i tested it with the tool and it wasnt working and then i tested fuel pump and it would turn on and off just as comanded...please help do u think its the coolant temp sensor or what i dont have much money to sink in this and i need transportation ...

sorry for it bein so long i just wanted everyone to know exactly whats happening so i can get this fixed...i dont want to buy things to just guess and put in thanks

It would help to have the actual codes, not an interpretation of the codes. With the actual codes the folks on this forum may be able to help you diagnose your problems.

Codes please....

P0118 ect sensor voltage too high
