okay so back in may i bought my jeep..its been abused for the last 2 years...well its getting cold out..and my heat dont work...the heating unit it self works(just replaced it)...and 2 weeks ago i replaced my thermostat and last week i did my waterpump...i thought maybe my thermostat but its new and still not heat pleaseee help
Check the door flaps or whatever it is for open and closing of vents under car or dash.. You might have snapped the cable actuating the hot air and its stuck closed .. Im too lazy to look up what parts im talking about lol.. Plugged heater core..?
I'd definitely check the thermostat first, (easiest, lol), then check the radiator/heater hoses, water pump, then the heater core. My heater core went out on me a couple years ago in the dead of January, took me about 3 hours to replace it on my old Chevy in about 15 degrees, now THAT SUCKED! lol, good luck to you guys, hope it's an easy fix
I was having the same problem with my new to me Jeep. I flushed out the heater core(took off both lines and flushed each back and forth till clear water was coming out). It was seriously blocked, the hoses would swell and finally it pooped out globs of orange crap. Now the heater blows so hot you cant keep your hand on the vent for too long.
okay so how do i flush my heater core and i hope i didnt snap that stupid cable thing..and what could be wrong with the vacume ball cuz i removed it to mount my plate but i put it back in grr this stuff is annoying me..
