there is a electric ignition switch located on the steering coloum should look similar to this if it burnt you will not get current to the starter when you turn the key

Default update

ok i changed out the starter soliond switch and still nothing all the realys are clicking but nothing else and i all so ran a long ground from the starter to the neg post on the battery and still nothing as for the nss switch i clean it about 3 months ago
any other ideas

if the crank postion switch is bad will the starter not even turn over if i lay a screwdriver across the starter the jeep starts right up and runs fine so if the cps switch is bad would the jeep run bad ?
