The nylon/plastic black fuel line that feeds the intake manifold leaks. I tried replacing with a common fuel line but no luck with making it work. What can I do? Can't find the part online or at parts store. Thanks Note: this is the line closest to the driver, is the other line a low-pressure return? i.e. should I replace both?
For the connector and for the line itself that part should be easy. Be sure to use fuel injector hose clamps so it seals tightly. I use them on all fuel lines, even on motorcycles that are gravity fed as they never leak.
Is this what you are referring to?
Originally it did not have any clamp.
As you can see the line from the pump blew off and left me stranded.
I am not aware of clamps specifically
for fuel lines.
Thank you for your help.
Can I also just get 1/4" nylon fuel line and heat it up with a heat gun or hot water and replace the original? Hesitant to use the 2 clamp method and can't easily flair the feeder line. Thanks.
