Default Pitman arm availability

Why do none of the auto parts stores near me carry pitman arms? They don't list them at all and act as if I am speaking a foreign language when I ask about them. Often asking "what else are they called?" Though a quick google search and I have 100s of options. I was hoping to get one this weekend as I am planning on swapping out my gearbox today.

Thanks

Why not re-use what you have?

If you need one, I have a nice take off. It's probably a non wearing part so the counter guys don't know what to do.

I was considering using a ZJ arm for the extra drop, figured they are cheap enough why not try it and not have to deal with pulling the old one.
