Does my pitman arm look like its ok enough . It's torqued down to a little over 150 lb ft . But it seems like it can go higher but it won't budge

The sector shaft is tapered so you're only going to get the pitman arm so far.

Check the nut to make sure it's staying tight and you should be fine.

did you line up the pitman arm correct? there are square areas that need to be lined up. and my rough country pitman arm only has about 2 threads showing under it, but check it they will loosen up.

The pitman arm is keyed and will only go on one way.

I have it lined up fine, i realized it only went on one way when i saw the thread. The nut has about two threads showing below it. Second opinions are always nice though

I replaced mine too. It looks exactly the same. I just have been keeping a large Crescent wrench with me so that I can make sure it doesn't loosen. I have torqued it at the right specks when I first installed it but have read that it should be checked periodically because of the finish in the splines.
