That is actually the look I would go for when I do my rebuild. I may substitute black with silver though. That is super nice looking though. Red is my fave color. Everything on that engine shines. I'd cry if I drove through a mud puddle with either of these engines.

Cruiser, what kind of oil filter adapter is that where u got the filter mounted vertically instead of horizontally?

Renix or early HO. Can't remember. They're interchangeable. The one real difference is the oil filter nipple. Renix is metric and HO is standard thread.
