X2 on the gears. If it's an auto it probably has 3.55s and it's time to regear to 4.10s. If you could find some rockers that have a higher ratio, that would give a little more power, maybe 10%. Depending on what year your jeep is, you could switch to the newer cam which is a dual pattern design. That cam is what's in my engine and it will pull 3rd gear from 800 rpm on 31s and 3.07 gears. Incredible torque. I have driven v8's that didn't do that.

there is actualy a product called the tornado that does this. It does realy cause the air to circulate better wich will cause a better mixture if you have throtlebody injection. Unfortunateley tests have shown that the hp gain is offset by the restriction in airflow caused by the blade looking things that cause the air to curculate. Cool theory but they actualey do absolutely nothing for hp or fuel milage. Best bet woul be save up for a bigger throtlebody, you wont be dissapointed. Gears are also a good idea for anyone with oversized tires and yet another thing you wont be dissapointed with.

Ouch yea that can't be fun... to the OP, regearing is really what you need to do in this situation. If you've already regeared and it's still sluggish to you then maybe somethings wrong. Or you're just being power greedy

it's actually a tapered throttle body that goes form 60mm at the inlet form the filter, and goes to a 56mm at the intake manifold. getting a straight bored one at 60mm will show great improvement, and a 62mm (the biggest you usually can go before before trying to port out the head and intake) will do wonders. i just got my cold air intake yesterday in the mail, and next month i am going to see if i have the funds to get a 62mm throttle body. i'm currently looking at the BBK one at 4wd.com.
