hey man...my 87 had the tubing and all... i just ordered a complete new set of grommet/tubing for front and rear and replaced the old stuff ... guess it was a pcv, but don't really recall.... good luck!

It is a CCV system.
The ccv tubing gets clogged and brittle with time/miles. Often a good idea to replace all of it.
I just saw a thread where a guy got both CCV assemblies leading to and from the falve cover from the Jeep dealer for $32.

gonna look into it, i think i may have water in the oil, gonna replace the oil and see what happends. thinking of just taking it down to an engine shop when income tax gets here.
