pcm wiring loose please help!!!!
i bought a "refurbished" pcm from orileys about 2 weeks ago. plugged it and it worked great, but its been randomly stalling out on me. i figured that while the jeep is running. i can wiggle the wires just a little bit and it will stall out the jeep!
everything looks good, im not sure if it is the connector or the pcm! any advice would be greatly appreciated

Disconnect the battery,
remove the connectors from the PCM,
clean the green fungi off with wd40 or plastic safe contact cleaner & a wire brush,
reinstall PCM connectors & battery cable,
fire it up.

That is what mine is doing...before that I was getting a Trans Over Temp and all kinds of issues...New pcm and tipm...I removed the pins on pcm connector and the crimp looks good...pretty sure it's the pins are loose and when heated up they don't keep good contact.....next I'm gonna repin or find new connectors...Did you ever figure it out
Did you ever figure it out. IM AT MY WITS END....i did the drags test...they don't seem too bad and the connectors look fine but...they aren't that tight..maybe the heat is making them expand just enough to lose contact....New connectors are 175 each and I need 4...CRAZY. it will stall on any of the first 3 because the first 3 all have power going to them

This thread started in 2013! The OP hasn't been here since 2017.
Rather that resuscitate such an old thread, start a new one. Include details on the year, engine size, trans of your XJ.

I found your YouTube video, and it appears you have a Jeep GRAND (the trans overtemp code was also a hint).
