Can you roll it up on the drivers side? Mine acts up every now and then but i can usually always control it from the drivers side if i push the switch up while moving it to the left or right.

You might just have to replace the switch.

if you just want to put it up for now rip the door panel off on the passenger side and lift it manually with your hand. To try and fix it first pull out the passenger switch and try the master switch on the drivers side. To test the switch disconnect the motor and use an altimeter on the power lead to the motor when you hit the switch the needle should jump. If not the switch is bad. If it does jump the motor is bad.

Chances are the motor has failed after 20 years of service in the rain and heat.

well it was sure working alot better then the driver side. It quit working directly after the switch fell apart while trying to take the panel off. it just exploded into a bunch of different pieces and i threw it in the door to worry about later. I tested the same thing with the power locks and as soon as that switch was apart the master switch on the driver door quit working for the locks as well. It seems outrageous that they would wire the whole circuit in series as apposed to paralell but that is the only conclusion I am drawn to now. I am going to buy both switches tomorrow and hopefully that solves the problem, guess im gunna have to break down and get a haynes for this beast for future problems like this. Thanks for the help though guys
