pasenger axle removal d30

I was wondering if i have to remove the axle shift motor to pull the outer axle shaft out on a D 30

Maybe not to pull the axle, but I'll bet you need to for the install.

is it the CAD disconnect dana 30 or the newer one? the CAD should be able to just pull right out on the passenger side

There isn't a shift motor on the later ones.
