Would the parts off of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee be compatible with a 1993 Jeep Cherokee? Specifically, I have a 1993 Jeep that needs a power steering pump, headlight assembly, steering shaft and heater. A person I know has a 1997 Jeep Cherokee he is about to scrap so I was wondering if his parts would work in my truck?

 

Since its two different body styles its hard to say what will.

 

I'd do a parts number lookup to check. There are a bunch of Mopar Overstock type sites that you can use, or my favorite Rock Auto. I suspect the steering shafts and power steering pumps are identical, headlight mounts different, no idea in the heater core. Maybe.
