"Part-Time" light on with HVAC off

"Part-Time" light on with HVAC off
Okay, here is the deal, 1988 XJ, when I turn my HVAC system to the off position my "Part Time" light comes on. As long as I keep my HVAC system on in some form or anther it stays off. I should also mention that it also comes on when I shift into 4HI. My issue is I have know idea where to start looking. Any help or idea would be great. Thanks in advance.
