Hi new guy here with my first question here.
First I have a 1989 xj that was bought new by my uncle, then when he passed away my dad got it. Now dad is gone and it has passed on to me.
It has 224,000 miles on it but my uncle had a rebuilt enigine installed when he had it.
First thing is that when in 2 wheel drive the Part Time light comes on, however, if I give it the gas the light goes off, let off the gas and the light comes back on. I found the white hose was broke going to the front diff to the (not sure what it's called) thing that pulls the front axles in, shift motor maybe?
I repaired that and now the 4 wheel drive works but i'm having this problem with the light. Could it be another broken vacuum line somewhere or the switch on the TC.

Did I mention this is my first jeep - so far I think im going to have alot of fun with it.
