Question Park Brake Adjuster

I've been trying salvage yards and have had no luck; anyone know where I could get an adjuster for a 97 Cherokee park brake? http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/.../52128185.html Tried this only to get an email saying they don't have it and now the site lists it unavailable. Anything I could get to substitute it possible?

you should be able to go get one from a junk yard somewhere. its not very common for them to be missing..

Did the yj one work for you? when I bought my xj all the rod, equalizer and bracket were missing? Is the bracket necessary? Easy install?

Yes, the bracket is required for the E-brakes to function.
It hard mounts the E-brake handle cable & also the cables that activate the e-brake shoes.
The bracket is held on with 2 13mm 1/2 in. long bolts.

It is a 10 minute job.

Question

Any chance you have another park brake adjuster for my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Mine is getting ready to break any day now.
