ok so im havin to replace my header panel and both front fenders, i would really like to be able to paint the new ones to match the rest of my very bright red jeep, and i wanna do it myself hopefully, anyone know how i would go bout matching the paint up. cause if not im just gonna paint the new pieces gloss black or if i have to just paint the whole jeep black, but i really would like to stay red, so any suggestions on how to mix up paint to match the old paint would be great cause im paintin blind at this rate

 

If your jeep is the original color you can go to any good auto paint store and they can match it,they have all the mix codes on there computer.

 

see i did that with the header panel thats on there now and its i guess about the same color but it doesnt have the deep shine like the rest. like you can see yourself on the hood but the header panel is dull. do i just need a coat of gloss or what?

 

Does yours have a clearcoat? If it does it would need the clearcoat to bring out the shine of the basecoat. Your paint store should know. If it does you would have to do it over again,clearcoats are suppose o be applied within 1 hour after base coat.
