I am going to be putting on some coil springs i pulled off a grand Cherokee in a few weeks.
I am wondering if it is ok to hit them with a coat or 2 of spray paint for looks? I know it probably wont last too long but think it might look nice for a little while.
If you can paint them, what kind should I use or avoid?

I wouldn't see why not, what other color scheme do you have, i would try to match them or accent them. I actually prefer (for black) Dollar General (in my neck of the woods) branded black spray paint, seems bullet proof, or mud and offroad proof, and cheap, duh $1.
