DAMN diskman, that looks amazing to be done with rollers. I figured rollers would give you the finish of house paint Does using rollers down the risk of having runs? or is it about the same as when you're spraying? I've never even heard of using rollers until now, ive only used a spray gun which im mediocre at best with lol. I just always seem to go a little too thick in a few spots.. Who knows maybe im impatient. Since yall actually have experience spraying.. Think its worth it to repaint my jeep red? My paint looks good and its actually only about 4 years old at the most (PO had it painted, i could tell from the overspray) however its got a few dings.. some creases and really deep scratches, as in indenting the metal deep lmao. I've thought it over for years, would give me a good excuse to go the 97+ front end

Hmmm. Maybe I could make a temporary spray booth out of tarps and PVC pipe.
I sprayed my YJ like this, worked great. Just put a few box fans to suck out the fumes and dust. The neighborhood hated it tho!

But rustolium now offers what they call "automotive" paint in aerosol cans, and it actually works sweet. And it doesn't yellow over time, which ive always had with regular spray paint.

Well I only used it on the fenders and tailgate on my YJ. Everything else got the rhino treatment. I did gloss black and about 5 coats of clear. Just did it in my garage and they look great.

check out the pictures of my jeep under my profile.(I am to lazy today to post them here.) that paint job cost me 250.00 and 2 hrs including prep. The product is called raptor liner you can have it tinted to any color. use 100 or 80 grit sand paper to scrach the surface of the oem paint. the gun needed comes with the kit if not is 15.00. u will need 2 kits (almost 2 gal)

I just hung them from the rafters in my garage and sprayed them. No wetsanding or buffing or anything.

But they were tube fenders I made, not my stock sheet metal.
