I still have yet to replace my TC solenoid, which I will do this week. But right after I got my fuel pump done I noticed the jeep was running crazy, the RPM gauge was jumping up and down, something is going on with my transmission. I drove it around yesterday around the block and it just died while coming up to a stop sign. It will sit and idle all day and rev up just fine sitting in the drive way. I need to get these solenoids replaced ASAP. I am trying to find a OSS sensor on the internet and can't seem to find one or if they are there it's like a pigtail and a sensor that you have to wire up. I had ordered that mopar crank sensor thinking that was the issue of the erratic rpms but I am starting to think it's all transmission issues. The fluids a bit low, the fluid color is great though just a nice red. I need to flush and replace it. But where the heck can you get a new OSS? Are the ones on like rock auto the right part? My symptoms seem to line up exactly with my OBD2 codes. It always shifted a bit hard into 2nd and took a while to actually shift. I should of done these solenoids as soon as I got them.

Just want to update this thread. Apparently my transmission fluid was low enough to make this thing go bonkers. I had checked the fluid and it didn't seem crazy low or anything, but literally filling it up solved all these issues. Still need to do the TQ converter solenoid. Make sure your transmission fluid is topped off people.

Sorry, I am slow today, but what is the OSS?
Also, I don't think those symptoms you described are low transmission fluid related. I would test the Throttle Position Sensor first.
So when it runs crazy, those the engine feel like it is running crazy or is it just the gauge?

If the code doesn't come back, don't worry about it. They almost never go bad, and I think this was just a case of the error code being a symptom instead of a cause. The sensor is on the rear drivers side of the transmission, obscured by the xfer case linkage bracket. If the OSS fails, it simply won't upshift as it thinks your not moving. It's identical to the input speed sensor up by the bellhousing, and actually swapping the two can help identify if one is actually bad.
