LED reverse lights and P0705 code?

99 4.0 AW4. Drives great. Smoothly shifts through all gears including overdrive. Starts in park and neutral as designed. Recently installed the Precision LED interior light kit and added the reverse lights as well. Reverse lights work but now I get random P0705 code, which is related to the NSS and the reverse circuit as well. My suspicion is that the new LED backup lights don’t have the right resistance and are throwing off the NSS and thereby throwing the code. Or perhaps I shorted something during prying the old halogen interior lights out and installing the new led’s. Anyone experienced similar? Next step is to go back to halogen backup lights but wanted to check with others first. Thanks

 

Common to need a load resistor to get led to play nice. Easy add in part.
