It is sold to replace broken mounting plate of the '97 - 01 models. That is considerably different from your '89.

I apologize it is blurry, I was taking measurements prior to carpet installation. Are you sure it is broken and not the console or just missing fasteners? I don't see it available in aftermarket, so it's either a wrecking yard/pick-n-pull thing, or you could contact Altice transmissions & Jeep or possibly Dead Jeep and have them pull one for you. I don't think these are frequently needed replacements.

I actually pulled one from the junk yard, but I wanted to make sure it was the right one. Where are u measuring from?

The front face of the vertical pocket below the rear seat bottom. I should have acknowledged that no matter how you search for this bracket the JCR bracket shows up in the search, which could lead someone to believe it is an acceptable replacement.

Generally, I look the part up in the online parts guide then search by part number. Sometimes, the actual part name is different from what we call it. Often, after market parts will list OEM equivalent part numbers.

The JCR bracket does clearly say '97-01. Although I seem to vaguely remember a post where the posted modified the JCR to fit. I'll try to find it.
