p0505 obd code

p0505 obd code
So I've had this issue with my xj where one day the check engine light came on. Checked the code and it was a p0505 IAC circuit. Installed a new IAC and didn't go out. Kept driving my jeep until it wouldn't idle at all anymore, so a few months worth of time. I then installed a different computer and it runs great starts every time and idles! However I still have the mil status for the p0505 code and it never goes away. Check the voltages on the connector and they're good. Vacuum is good. I'm out of ideas! My jeep is possessed! HELP!
