overheating issue?
ok, before anyone yells at me i have already done my part and used the faithful "search option"..... a lot of what i found really wasnt much help.
i bought my gf a cherokee and put a bunch of parts on it already. i will include a list of parts added plus vehicle specs at the end of this post. most parts where installed by myself....
we sat in my drive way for no more than 5min after running 2 miles to the gas station and back. after we got out i noticed coolant dripping from about where the coolant res. is located. i popped the hood and the res. was over flowing and boiling. the jeep has a new radiator and water pump and my only idea is the thermostat. i believe the previous owner was lazy and cheap.
am i correct with my assumption? is there something common with these vehicles i dont know about? any suggestions....
