Overheating Help,

Overheating Help,
My 97, bless its heart. Water pump replace, T-stat with 180. Now has a leak from Rad. Ordered a CSF 2671 HD All Metal 3 Row from Rad Barn.... Good decision? Any thoughts would be helpful. I live in Dallas and our Mercury has tipped 100 already and he's running 210+ but not quite to Red yet, but it's getting there....
