After a weekend of Fun and a lot of mud, I'm having issues with the jeep overheating. City driving with 3 lights, 5 miles. I get to my destination and the temperature is one mark above 210 and I open the hood and the reservoir is spitting out water and the radiator cap as well. Thought it could be the radiator had mid stuck in so I took out the fan and cleaned it well.

End result same story. What could this be??

 

Possible cap bab get it pressure checked.

 

blown head gasket or cracked head

 

Does your fan clutch have play? Can you stop it with your hand? Is the condenser fan turning on? Is your coolant old and ****ty?

 

Do you have mud packed into the radiator?

 

Stop the fan clutch by hand? I wouldn't suggest trying that...

 

Pretty common in a garage. Guess I should add disclaimer "no girlie hands."
