Default Over heating
K so I replaced the water pump and thermostat now my fan won't turn on and it's still over heating after about 5-10 mins just idling. Also it looks as if oil is coming from my radiator.

That means you have a blown head gasket...

Did you install the thermostat in the correct direction?

What's the correct position? Is it the oil that leads u to think its a blown head gasket? Thanks

I just so happened to have a brand new thermostat I picked up from jeep today.


The arrow is pointing toward the radiator


There is also an arrow pointing up
