my compass and temp display has never worked so i pulled it down and had a look see at it to check the wires and all looked good. after i put it back togethere it work for maybe 30 mins. so i have played with the wires 2 more times and nothing now. do you guys have any clue what mite be going on with it

 

Not quit sure what year you have, Maybe you happened to catch it at the end of it's life span. But if you want a good laugh. Mine's a '91, When I called a Mopar parts dealer, about a replacement comp./temp module. Their list price was $695.00. ( For a 18 yr. old part.) I could put in a full blown nav. system, for that kind of money. I watched e-bay for over a yr. Finally got one for about $65. Pulled the module out, and put into mine. I all ready had recovered the over head console, when I did the headliner. (there hard to come by, And people know what there worth.) My advice, keep watching e-bay. (They where also used in other Chrysler/Dodge cars. Vans, New Yorkers, etc. To name a few.) JMO!
