Technically, there's not a specific "heater" position.....there are 7 vent positions.....5 in which the compressor is engaged and 2 in which it is not. Heat will be felt in any of the 7 vent positions IF the temp selector is moved toward the "red". This is due to the heat circuit being way more powerful than the cool (compressor engaged) circuit.
