Out of ideas
I have been trying to re-install my steering column into my 89 Cherokee and am having trouble lining it up. Even with the help I recruited. It seems that there is just not enough room to get two hands down there to do this without removing the brake booster.
I'm really out of ideas.
thanks,
Clif

I just did this today. I'm assuming it's a 4.0 and that's why it's so difficult. XD
I had to unhook the brake booster vacuum line at the T junction just ahead of the master cylinder, and that gave me enough room to get one hand down there while I had someone slowly push it towards me while I lined it up. After you get it started, just go and give it a good shove and put the bolt back in.

I'll give that a shot when I have a little bit of light left after work tomorrow. And yes it is a 4.0 :-)... Thought it would be a lot easier than it turned out. At least I got the windows up to stop the rain from dropping in.
