Hard to say I've seen some pretty ugly factory welds on XJs. It could be factory or from a previous "repair".


Though given the fact that that looks like factory primer/paint that has not been ground/sanded down or repainted or otherwise disturbed I would lean toward factory.

Sadly those are factory welds. Look like the welds on my ZJ.

A non-factory stick welder can burn right through the very light primer and paint under there. It's just overspray anyway.
