ordering rims.. need suggestions
Im wanting to order some cragar soft 8's for my jeep. But im unsure what "backspacing" to go with.. I found them on summit, one with 4" backspace, or another with 4.75" backspace..
Its a 93 with 3" lift and 31's. I want the tires to stick out a bit more, but nothing ridiculous.
Suggestions?

I like the idea of larger backspacing.
4" sticks out, which probably requires trimming. Then you have opened a new can of worms. Go with a cool stock rim, even from a "grand cherokee" Wheels sticking out is great, if thats what you like. I want a small, narrow footprint. Think about the extra axle stress, etc.... JMHO

It's a trade off. Going narrow on a lifted Cherokee aversely effects stability, typically you want to go wider when you lift it to keep as much stablity as possible.
