the miles are up there. buttttttt the truck looks real nice for the price. and even so 168000 isnt that bad because obviously the 4.0 is known to go for way more. my "93 had 200,000 before i sold it with no problems. my bros has 168000 and is running top notch. it seems like a good deal.

 

As illuded to earlier the rust is your main issue please follow everyones suggestions to prevent getting a flintstone mobile, as for the engine 168k is just gettin broke in 258k and still strong on mine

 

Well, from what I have been seeing on here, things to look for that are most common issues are

1) Rust in the floorboard/rockers
2) Play in the steering wheel (easy fix adjusting the box though)
3) Rear Main Seal Leak
4) Exhaust Manifold front bolt broken & ticking/clicking
5) Seat Frames
6) Power Steering and other misc leaks (very common from what I hear/read)

Anything else I am missing?
