I had posted my xj for sale but due to some changes I am keeping it for now. Its a 94 sport, 6' lift and 33x12.50's, aw4 auto, 4.0 inline 6, dana 30 front axle, chrysler 8.25 rear axle. I am a power freak and mustang nut at heart soooooo... I can stuff a 5.0 in the jeep easy enough but what trans? I am planning on converting to a manual trans, will an ax15 handle the power of a 302? Is there a way to match my tc (I believe np231 correct me if I'm wrong) to a tremec trans or t5 or muncie? I looked at novak and advance adapters and theyre showing a kit to put a t5 to a dana 20 tc but I dont know if this will work in my jeep. Opinions and helpful advice is appreciated.
