Opinions and advice.
Just bought a 1995 XJ from my brother, he did nothing major to it other than have a mechanic go through it and added header and CAI. I know they replaced the water pump(waiting on a list). Here are my top priorities was wanting to know what else to look for. I have spent days reading this site and its information overload. Just wanting opinions and advice. Has 115,000 miles and is and will be DD.
Priority
1. Full fluid and gasket change(when I get paid unless mechanic did it.)
2. Replace worn vacuum lines(fixed temporarily)
3. New floor pans where needed I can Flintstones in the drivers side front.
4. Has a 3" lift front seems to be done right no spacer back is blocks(building a bastard pack).
5. Wash clean and paint underside after floors.
6. Replace missing/broken interior pieces.
7. Finish lift properly(Adjustable track arm, sway disconnects, shocks, SYE or tdrop).

Check u-joints, tires (replace or rotate, whichever), and brakes. Remove and clean the grounds. Lube any grease fittings. Headlight harness upgrade. And an alignment once your finished with #7.
